Ontime has three auxiliary timers alongside the main one:
Rundown
Binding Set message to a field on your page puts live show data on the studio timer — the next guest’s name, or a note to the presenter — without anyone typing into Ontime.
Triggers
Rules can react to:
- The Ontime connection changes
- The playback state changes
- The loaded event changes
- The timer phase changes — warning, danger, or overtime
- The on-air flag changes
The phase trigger is the useful one for a director: a rule can fire when a segment crosses into danger or overtime, cueing a wrap signal or a graphic automatically.
State
The device reports its connection state, the playback state, the loaded event’s id, title and cue, the current timer phase, and whether Ontime is on air.
