The ChamSys GeNetix device controls ChamSys MagicQ and GeNetix lighting consoles over OSC.

Connection

The agent sends OSC to the console over the network. Provide the host and, if needed, adjust the port (commonly 8000).

Commands

The ChamSys device supports lighting control operations, including:
  • Playback control such as go, stop, and release
  • Execute a command by number
  • Recall a scene
  • Send a raw OSC message

State

The device reports its connection state. This driver sends commands to the console and does not poll it for state or raise triggers.
