Resolume Arena - Fabl

The Resolume Arena device controls Resolume Arena, so your rundown can fire the visuals for an item and fade them out again when it comes off air.

Connection

Provide the host, the OSC port used to send commands, and the REST port Fabl reads state back from.

Commands

Command	What it does
Connect clip	Triggers a clip in a layer
Trigger column	Triggers a column across the whole composition
Clear layer	Disconnects a layer’s active clip
Set layer opacity	Sets a layer’s video opacity, from 0 to 1
Set clip opacity	Sets a clip’s video opacity, from 0 to 1
Bypass layer	Bypasses a layer, or takes it out of bypass
Solo layer	Solos a layer, or un-solos it
Set effect parameter	Sets an effect parameter on a layer to a value
Select deck	Selects a deck by index

Layers, columns, and clips are addressed by their 1-based index, matching the numbering shown in Resolume.

Trigger column fires a whole look at once across every layer, which is usually what a rundown item wants — firing clips layer by layer can leave the composition briefly mismatched.

State and triggers

The device reports its connection state, whether Resolume is reachable, and which layers are bypassed. A trigger fires when the connection changes.
