Connection
The File Watcher runs on the agent host and watches the local file system. Configure:- Watch folder — the absolute path to monitor on the agent machine
- File filter — limit to all files, video, or images
- Watch mode — automatic (use OS file events where available, otherwise poll) or polling, with a configurable poll interval
Commands
- Refresh — force a rescan of the watched folder
State and triggers
The device reports state about the watched folder, including whether it’s active, the folder and filter in use, the watch mode, the current file count, and the total size. It raises triggers your rules can react to:- File added
- File removed
