The Viz Flowics device controls Viz Flowics cloud HTML5 graphics, so a rundown item can put an overlay on air and feed it live values from your page.
Connection
Viz Flowics is a cloud service, so there is no host to reach on your network. Provide the graphics token for the package you want to drive; the API base URL is already set and rarely needs changing.
Commands
Text values are token-substituted, so a control can be driven straight from a field on your page.
Triggering a second overlay in the same region automatically takes the first one out. You do not need a separate take-out action when swapping looks within a region.
A control can only be addressed if it has been given a Control API ID in the Flowics editor, and the package has been republished since. A control without one cannot be reached, and the call will not find it.
State and triggers
The device reports its connection state, the last action, the last overlay addressed, and the last error. A trigger fires when the connection changes.
