Streamlabs Desktop - Fabl

The Streamlabs Desktop device controls Streamlabs Desktop, so your rundown can start the stream, roll a recording, and save a replay without leaving Fabl.

Connection

Provide the host and port of the machine running Streamlabs Desktop, plus its API token.

Enable the remote control API in Streamlabs Desktop and copy the token from its settings before connecting.

Commands

Command	What it does
Toggle streaming	Starts streaming, or stops it if it is already running
Toggle recording	Starts recording, or stops it if it is already running
Start replay buffer	Starts the replay buffer
Stop replay buffer	Stops the replay buffer
Save replay	Writes the replay buffer to disk
Enable studio mode	Turns studio mode on
Disable studio mode	Turns studio mode off
Execute studio mode transition	Fires the studio-mode transition

The stream and record commands are toggles rather than separate start and stop actions. If a rule needs to guarantee a state rather than flip it, check the current state in the rule’s condition first.

The device reports its connection state and raises a trigger when the connection changes.
