The media asset library is where your video, image, and audio files live. Upload assets, browse and search them, and view detailed technical metadata that Fabl extracts automatically.

Upload media

Click Upload media and select one or more files. Fabl supports common video, image, and audio formats. As each file uploads, you’ll see its progress; several files can upload at once. During upload, Fabl reads the file’s properties locally, generates a thumbnail for videos, stores the file, and then extracts full technical metadata in the background. Extracted details appear on the asset automatically when ready.
Uploading and editing media requires the media management permission. See Roles and permissions.
The library lists your assets with a thumbnail, type, duration, resolution, file size, and creation date. You can:
  • Search by title or description
  • Filter by type — video, image, or audio

Asset details

Open an asset to see a preview and its full metadata, including:
  • Resolution, frame rate, and duration
  • Container format and content type
  • Video codec and bitrate
  • Audio codec, bitrate, channels, and sample rate
  • File size, upload date, and who uploaded it
From the detail view you can edit the title and description, download the asset, and — for video — manage subtitles and view encoded versions.
