A field preset is a saved definition of a single field — its type, label, default value, options, formatting, and access mode. Presets let you standardize fields across pages instead of reconfiguring the same field every time.

Why use presets

If your rundowns always include a “Segment duration” time field or a “Guest name” text field, define each once as a preset. Then anyone can add a correctly configured field in a single click, and your fields stay consistent across the whole workspace.

Create and use a preset

  1. Open the Field presets section and click New field preset.
  2. Choose the field type and configure its label, default value, options, icon, and access mode.
  3. On any page, use the + control, pick Field presets, and select your preset to add a field configured from it.
A field added from a preset is independent: editing the field on a page does not change the preset, and changing the preset does not alter fields already placed on pages.
Creating and editing presets requires the field presets management permission. See Roles and permissions.
