# Sennheiser Spectera

> Monitor and control a Sennheiser Spectera base station - audio transport per interface, pack instrument assignment, and device naming.

The **Sennheiser Spectera** device connects Fabl to a Spectera wideband wireless base station, so pack status reaches your show and routing changes can be made from a rule.

## Connection

Provide the base station's **host** and **port**, plus the **API user** and **password**. Two further settings cover the secure link:

* **TLS trust** and an optional **certificate pin**, for verifying the base station's certificate
* A **minimum request gap**, which paces requests so the base station is not overwhelmed

State arrives by push rather than polling, so pack changes reach Fabl as they happen.

## Commands

| Command | What it does |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Set device name | Sets the base station's display name |
| Set input transport | Selects which audio transport an input interface uses - Dante, MADI or analog |
| Set output transport | Selects the transport for an output interface |
| Assign instrument | Switches the instrument assigned to a pack, addressed by its type and serial |

Packs are addressed by **type and serial** - for example an SEK bodypack or an SKM handheld - rather than by slot, so a rule keeps working when packs are swapped between positions.

A raw command is available for any request not listed here.

## State and triggers

The device reports whether the base station is connected, along with pack type and serial for the packs it is tracking. A trigger fires when the connection changes.
