# Genelec Smart IP

> Control Genelec Smart IP loudspeakers - output level, mute, input selection, acoustic profiles, power state and panel LEDs.

The **Genelec Smart IP** device controls Genelec Smart IP PoE loudspeakers, so a show can set monitoring levels, recall a room profile, and put the speakers to sleep afterwards.

## Connection

Provide the speaker's **host**, plus the **user name** and **password** it requires. The **status poll interval** sets how often Fabl re-reads its state.

## Commands

| Set level               | Sets the output level in dB, in 0.1 dB steps                             |
| Mute                    | Mutes, unmutes, or toggles the output                                    |
| Select inputs           | Chooses which inputs the speaker listens on, in any combination          |
| Recall acoustic profile | Recalls profile 0 for default flat, or 1 to 5 for a user-defined profile |
| Set power state         | Sets the power state                                                     |
| Set LEDs                | Sets the front-panel LED intensity and the RJ45 connector LEDs           |
| Hide clip indicator     | Hides the clip indicator on subwoofers                                   |

Levels are clamped to the speaker's own range rather than rejected. A profile recall is confirmed by reading the active profile back, so a rule knows the change actually took. A profile can also be set as the one the speaker loads at startup.

  Two power conditions - ISS sleep and power fail - are reported but cannot be set. They are states the speaker enters on its own.

The clip-indicator command applies to subwoofers and is ignored on two-way models. A raw command is available for any Smart IP call not listed here.

## State and triggers

The device reports whether the speaker is reachable, its power state, whether the output is muted, and the active acoustic profile. A trigger fires when the connection changes.
